Celebrating Success: The Progress 64 West 36th Annual Awards Banquet

Sponsors of Progress 64 West Excellence in Community Development Awards

Our recent 36th Annual Excellence in Community Development Awards, Champions in Action event, was a celebration of community spirit, innovation, and collaborative growth. This year not only met but exceeded expectations, bringing together a diverse group of community leaders, business professionals, and local influencers to share in the achievements of our Champions In Action!

The atmosphere was electric, charged with the enthusiasm and camaraderie of attendees who are united in their commitment to fostering economic development and enhancing the quality of life in the St. Louis region. The day kicked off with a welcoming address from our Board Chairman, Tony Long, that set the tone for a luncheon filled with reflection and forward-thinking.

One of the highlights was the keynote presentation by Technology Partners', Lisa Nichols, who eloquently articulated the milestones that the region has achieved along with some "Maxine-ism's" from Build-A-Bear founder, Maxine Clark. Lisa also included philosophies on local business growth, enhanced infrastructure, and the need to create new job opportunities. She also highlighted the essential partnerships that have been formed, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the private and public sectors.

Excellence in Community Development Awards

Throughout the banquet, there were moments of recognition for individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the community. These are our Champions in Action. The awards and acknowledgments were not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of the honorees but also served to inspire others to strive for excellence in their own endeavors.

The event provided an invaluable networking opportunity. Attendees mingled and exchanged ideas, forming connections that could potentially lead to future collaborations and initiatives. This spirit of unity and mutual support is a cornerstone of Progress 64 West's mission, and the event provided a perfect forum for strengthening these bonds.

In all, the Progress 64 West Banquet was a resounding success, celebrating success, showcasing the community's achievements and setting the stage for continued progress. It was a day that reaffirmed the community's shared vision and commitment to growth, innovation, and a brighter future for the St. Louis region.
